Grace De Gruccio is a student art therapist at Tierra Nueva Counseling Center, where she ran the Kids' Art Club for a year. She has worked with kids of all ages for the past ten years in classrooms, summer camps, therapeutic settings, homes, and community art programs. Grace received their bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in art and a concentration in museum studies.
Grace takes a person-centered and systems approach to therapy, often asking big picture questions of how our global and local communities, natural environments, intersectional identities, and family histories contribute to a complex psychological landscape. She loves to incorporate elements of storytelling, narrative therapy, music, and punk rock art therapy and believes that art is accessible to all people, no matter their skillset. Grace is Queer-affirming and loves to work with people of all ages, particularly LGBTQ+ children and adults, neurodivergent folks, and people seeking support with faith transitions and spiritual [de/re]construction.
