Alisa is a bicultural licensed mental health counselor with an MA in Counseling from Southwestern College and a BA in Biology from Cornell University. Alisa has a passion for helping clients discover and manifest what they need most in their lives, whether it be meaning, joy, peace, connection, empowerment, or unconditional self-love. She is interested in helping clients gain deeper insights and self-knowledge not only cognitively but through a holistic embodiment of their experiences.

Alisa enjoys emotionally focused and mindfulness-oriented work, drawing from modalities like somatic experiencing, DBT, IFS, psychodynamic and attachment-based therapies. She is interested in working with “borderline personality disorder,” addiction, trauma, grief, and the geriatric population. Alisa is currently working on getting her Trauma, Grief, and Renewal Certificate from NEI. In addition, Alisa has experience in working with children ages pre-K to grade 5 and has co-facilitated the Circles of Security Parenting group at TNCC. Alisa is fluent in Russian and proficient in Spanish.
