Cindy (she/her) is a practicum student in the Art Therapy and Counseling MA program at Southwestern College. Cindy's clinical work is grounded in a trauma-informed, holistic, client-centered approach that incorporates art therapy, somatic work, and narrative therapy, alongside evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness. She pays particular attention to attachment and relational dynamics in her work with clients, and her strong commitment to social advocacy and passion for multicultural knowledge and issues shape her practice. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Goldsmiths, University of London, and spent many years working as a website designer and engineer before owning a creative gift shop in Denver, Colorado, where she is originally from. She usually has a feline friend by her side, enjoys learning about history, and delights in exploring Santa Fe's magical nooks and crannies.
