Debbie Cohen is a student therapist at Southwestern College in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She is currently pursuing a second masters degree in Clinical mental health counseling. She holds a Bachelor's degree in psychology, as well as a Master's degree in forensic psychology from Arizona State University. Her background related to the field of Psychology includes five years of volunteer work in the field. She spent one year volunteering in the behavioral health unit at CHRISTUS St. Vincent where she would listen to people, meditate, do art and movement exercises with the patients there. She also spent four years as an active listener online where she listened to a variety of issues that people were dealing with. She is passionate about helping others, making the world a better place and the field of Psychology. Her approach to the therapeutic field includes traditional talk therapy, as well as a holistic approach- which includes meditation, grounding exercises, movement and spirituality.
