Kelsi comes into art therapy through a background in both fine art and education. Navigating these distinct worlds has allowed her to see how disparate ideas symbiotically coexist and, as a result, she finds herself drawn to exploring the interplay between thought and feeling, reason and intuition, logic and emotion. Curiosity about the human experience is a constant thread through all of this. This curiosity drives her desire to understand people more fully, recognizing that we are all complex beings with layered stories.

Kelsi approaches art therapy from a person-centered lens, but also draws from attachment, narrative, and relational approaches. Ultimately, she hopes to encourage authenticity in clients through acting in an authentic and congruent way herself, while always employing curiosity, empathy, and understanding rather than judgement.

Kelsi sees the therapeutic relationship as a space uniquely suited for healing through deep, human connection. She is committed to cultivating these connections through genuine attention, presence, and the creation of a space where clients feel truly seen and heard.
