Kim is a student therapist completing a Master of Arts in Counseling at Southwestern College. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a minor in economics from the University of New Mexico. Her background includes working and volunteering in diverse community settings, such as a homeless shelter and foundation supporting women and families, middle and high school environments, and a law office.
Her approach to counseling is grounded in presence, empathy, and authentic connection. She draws from person-centered, existential, and depth-oriented perspectives, while remaining flexible to the unique needs of each client. Kim values creating a therapeutic space that is welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental, where clients can explore their inner world, discover new strengths, and move toward growth and healing.
Her personal and professional experiences have deepened her compassion for the many ways people adapt, transform, and find meaning in their lives. She is committed to walking alongside clients with openness and respect, honoring their unique stories and supporting them as they uncover their own pathways to wholeness.
