Nicole Weiland (she/her), BA, PharmD, is a student therapist at TNCC and a Master of Counseling candidate at Southwestern College. Nicole grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she earned her doctorate in pharmacy from Duquesne University. Her work as a clinical consulting pharmacist for hospice patients centers on pain and palliative care, which has provided unique insights into grief, existential distress, and complex relational dynamics. Through years of witnessing and supporting patients at the end of life, she has developed a nuanced understanding of the interplay between the body, mind, & spirit.

Her path from pharmacy to counseling is intentional: to center, support, and advocate for community emotional well-being and belonging. Nicole’s identity as a counselor is rooted in the belief that healing is not about pathologizing and fi xing a problem, but about creating the right conditions for a person to access their authenticity and voice. She is inspired to use a humanistic here & now therapeutic style that empowers her clients to leverage their own inner resources for insight and lasting change. Nicole is also interested in using narrative therapy, social justice and advocacy, motivational interviewing, and humor to create a welcoming therapeutic relationship where people can feel safe, seen, and connected.
