Rachel Paskavitz (she/her) is a student art therapist at TNCC and is attending the Art Therapy and Counseling MA program at Southwestern College. Rachel was born and raised in Massachusetts. She attended Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. Rachel has over ten years of experience working with youth and their families in educational, childcare, and residential programming. Rachel has worked at TNCC for the last two years as a Navigator, helping to connect clients to resources in the community.

Rachel’s goal as a therapist is to help people find their way back to themselves. Change and growth happen in healthy relationships, and the therapeutic relationship can support you through navigating the depths of introspection that can often feel scary to do on your own. Rachel believes that therapy can help you realize your worth and unlock the wisdom and tools to build a beautiful and fulfilling life. She recognizes that everyone already contains what they need inside of themselves, and wants to help people uncover their innate intuition, beauty, and confidence. Rachel is passionate about utilizing art therapy as a tool to help her clients dig deeper into their inner worlds and uncover important self-knowledge that can guide them to positive change. She hopes to create a safe, grounded, and calm space in each session by utilizing person-centered and strengths-based approaches as well as humor, imagination, and creativity.
