Who We Are:

At Tierra Nueva Counseling Center, we deeply honor your value and integrity as a person, and we work with you to maximize your potential, while helping resolve areas of strife, suffering, or difficulty.

We offer counseling and art therapy services from either independently licensed therapists who have years of experience or student therapists who will work closely with you to help you create a healthy, balanced life.

Our licensed counselors and student therapists address the unique cultural, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of each client by utilizing a variety of targeted techniques and strategies.

Tierra Nueva Counseling Center provides a confidential, safe space to promote your growth, healing and transformation. We understand how to help when life is difficult. We know how to be supportive as you work toward making life happier, healthier and more peaceful, no matter what your difficulties might be.

Tierra Nueva Counseling Center was established to serve two primary, interrelated purposes:

1) to train Southwestern College graduate students in Counseling and Art Therapy/Counseling by providing supervised counseling to individuals, couples, groups, and families;

2) to provide excellent, low-cost counseling and art therapy to the residents of Northern New Mexico; and to network with relevant service providers in the area to best serve the needs of the clients.
