Services

Tierra Nueva Counseling Center offers an array of services to meet your needs. We offer counseling, art therapy , and group therapy. We offer services for families, adults, and children over 3-years-old.

Tierra Nueva is a field-training site for counseling and art therapy graduate students of Southwestern College. All student therapists work under the supervision of experienced faculty licensed in New Mexico. Clients working with student therapists consent to having sessions audio and/or video recorded. These recordings are for training and supervision purposes only and will be deleted at termination. Services provided by student therapists are offered low-cost and may be evaluated on a sliding scale.

For people using insurance we have independently licensed professionals on staff who can provide individual and family counseling, and group therapy services. Our licensed professionals have specialization and experience in trauma-informed therapies, work with children and families, chronic and acute mental illness, expressive therapies, and collaborative care. 

Fee for Independently Licensed therapists:

$130 for initial assessment
$90 for individuals
$95 for couples or families
$30 for group sessions

Counselor-in-training fees per session:

$25 for individual
$30 for couples or families
$10 for group sessions
